Andrzej B. Więckowski
The Nobel winner Max von Laue was a schoolboy in Poznań
 
Professor Andrzej B. Więckowski, a physics and chemistry specialist, presented research on Max von Laue's youth in Poznań, revealing documents confirming his education at the Royal Friedrich-Wilhelms-Gymnasium. His lecture detailed von Laue's Nobel Prize-winning discovery. In 2014, a plaque was unveiled at von Laue's school during the International Year of Crystallography, highlighting his connection to the city.
